I don’t like to hoard information. With an abundance mindset, it requires a belief that there is enough work for everyone. That’s why I am going to share three of the 10 startups I have tested out this past week — don’t worry, I’ll share more later.

First up is Backtrack.
This one has literally saved me countless headaches. It is like I have a second brain that allows me to fully engage in meetings because I don’t have to worry about setting up a recording.
NOTE: It’s currently only available for Mac users on the desktop, but if you have a PC, you can use this for now.
Here is how it works:
Don’t worry about anything
When your meeting is over you’ll be prompted on your desktop or you can manually drag down the UFO to pull up to five hours (audio, video, screen)
Automatically take notes and summarize
It does NOT auto store to the cloud and it deletes everything after 24 hours.
Say hello to Lucihub.
Take a moment to think about this one, because once you “get it,” you’ll REALLY get it and it will change the way you provide video options.
Glancing over this one will be a major miss.
It works like this:
Create a project
Invite collaborators (or just yourself)
Film and upload to their cloud (BEYOND easy, and there’s a QR code for anyone else you want to share content)
Get a pro edited video within…H O U R S
NOW IMAGINE THIS
You’re at an event with a few team members or new acquaintances. You each capture video and upload it to the same place, a video team is pinged without you having to do anything else and your video gets made.
You’re on stage and post a QR code on a slide. Anyone who uses it will be able to submit videos (like having 10 different camera angles) and photos that then pings a video team who starts creating your video.
You can’t be in person with your client. Send them or other people eon the team the QR code or link so they can send their videos in while at the corporate event, trade show, retreat, recruitment event, etc…
Out of your budget range? They do not offer one-off options…but I can sell you credits from my account. In fact, I’ll be doing this long-term because I’m hooked.
Last, but not least, Prosal.io
If you’re a consultant or agency, it means you’ve likely worked in the world of RFPs — and it’s not always a pretty one.
It’s why Prosal was born. To make finding and submitting RFPs a better process for everyone and automating some of the business development process. It means less searching and more discovery.
Signing up means:
Access to their international database
Free or Premium tiers
Easy to find and understand RFPs
I also talked about an evolving way of doing agency PR this week on Linkedin — PR4WARD
🛎 WANT TO KNOW WHY A LOT OF AGENCY PARTNERSHIPS FAIL?
1️⃣ Clients who "scope-creep," and pull focus from results; and
2️⃣ Not having an internal champion to keep the team in the loop
Let's consider a change to the traditional agency + client model in these instances:
**PR4ward**
There are a few ways to implement PR4ward based on how an organization is set up, but almost every version involves having a PR agency lead the hiring of an internal JUNIOR or MID-LEVEL PR ASSOCIATE.
Why?
✔ A junior-level role costs less than a senior-level executive
✔ Ensures an internal expert on the account team.
✔ Allows agency complete integration
✔ Gives media relations a higher probability
✔ Easier for an agency to pivot on changes, large projects
✔ Smaller, but urgent tasks that deviate from goals to internal
✔ If not enough resources, the agency can manage for you
✔ Sustainability long-term
